Holiday Craziness
It's definitely been a long time since I've had time to update my blog...
I'd like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season. Enjoy the new year! I've been sick lately and even missed more than a week of work. It's a crazy time of year to be sick, but fortunately I had already finished my holiday cards and wrapped all my presents before getting sick in early December. Glad that I had to mail some gifts and was required to plan ahead. Thanks, friends and family who live across the country, for making me plan in advance. I figured that while I had everything out I might as well just wrap everything.
Decided not to do the Gingerbread house this year, but I
will start that tradition back up again next year. This year, there's just too much going on. I made plain gingerbread cookies and we'll enjoy those without the added work of putting together a house. Next year, I think David's plan is to help me design a replica of our new house, though, so that should be lots of fun (and a lot of work).
Now that I'm starting to get healthy, I'll be able to help David with the packing. Other than my break to relax some and watch General Hospital on Thursday, I plan on spending a lot of my time on my extra day off packing my books and many other things from the spare bedroom and our bedroom. The more we can get done now, the less there will be to do later.
Happy Holidays everyone!
