Busy, busy, busy
I thought I'd try to be a little better about updating my blog, even though we're still very busy. We'll see how that goes.
Things are coming together (slowly, but surely) with the house. We have dates scheduled for the beginning of the construction projects, which is great! February 25-26 the wall in our bedroom will be built and the wall in the bonus room will come down (along with all the electrical work associated). Sometime in early March (currently scheduled for the 1st, but that may change), the closet people will do all of our closets except for the upstairs bedrooms. We figure there's no need to do the future kids closets at this time and our master bathroom (and moving of walls associated with it) needs to be completed before we can even finalize a design for our master closet.
I'm excited about all the construction, but I'm most excited about the closets for right now, since the completion of the main closets means that we can unpack the rest of the stuff that belongs in the pantry and other closets and organize everything.
Our Valentine's Day was nice, though it was our first one together outside of Vegas. With the house and everything else going on, we decided not to even go to Vegas this President's Day weekend. We'll work on getting extra things done around the house.

House and Wedding Craziness
Hello Everyone!
I know it's been a long time, but between moving into our new house (a little over 3 weeks ago), getting the swatches of my dress which allows me to meet with the florists and other people I had to put off initially for the wedding, trying to figure out exactly how we want to remodel our house for the major work we want to get done as soon as possible, ... I've been pretty busy.
Add to that the fact that my best friend, James, was visiting right after we moved in and you've got an even busier schedule. James and I were able to go to Disneyland together for free thanks to a friend of mine who still works there, head to the
Ellen Degeneres Show in Burbank, down to San Diego for the zoo and other sites and many more fun things! James was also able to reconnect with a lot of his Penn State friends, which was great - I got to meet them all, too. =)
When I looked up the Ellen site to post it above, I noticed that today is her Mardi Gras show. Craziness. I can't blieve how early Easter is this year. I feel badly for people who give up things like chocolate or alcohol for Lent - with Valentine's Day the Monday after Ash Wednesday. If that's you, good luck and hang in there (or perhaps think of giving yourself a one-night break for a special occasion)!
