Happy New Year!
Happy (belated) New Year!

It's been a while, I get that, but I've been busy. Between the holidays, packing to move into our new house (moving day is this Friday), planning the wedding, ... I've been busy.

The big wedding news is: I ORDERED MY DRESS!!! The dress that I found online was even more gorgeous in person and really suits me well. I squeezed into an 8 for the fitting, which made my day, since wedding dresses are cut small and I normally wear a 10. If you want a good ego boost, try on wedding gowns! I even got to meet the designer. It was so exciting. I've never met any designer before, so it would have been exciting even if he hadn't designed the gorgeous gown I'm going to wear for the wedding. Jason was even nice enough to pose for a picture with me in the dress, which is cool to have. Such a fun day!

I also got to see Melissa try on a bunch of wedding gowns, which was so much fun! Fashion shows when you know the person trying no the beautiful gowns are a lot more fun! She had a great boost to her ego seeing how great she looks in pretty much everything (though a couple did make me shudder a bit, none of that had anything to do with her, some of them were just wrong). I think I had just as much fun watching her as I did with my gown, though for most of it I'd already decided on my gown, so the cloud nine feeling was definitely there.

Can't wait to move on Friday! Life is good. We get a 4-day weekend and on Tuesday I won't have to drive on a freeway to get to work. Such a wonderful thing.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are having a great 2005 so far!
